Hello My name is Lakesha Muhammad , LPN I am a mother of five children four girls
and one boy with my son being the last of them all. I graduated from Greatlakes Institute
of Technology of Erie, Pa back in 2017. My journey has been mainly in long term Care
with some hospital and home health here and there. I started this journey in health care
when I was eighteen years old my first job was the care of a quadriplegic. From there I
never looked pack as it became my passion to care for people, it was just so natural for
me. Between then and Until I was about twenty seven, I worked in healthcare mainly
home health until it became not enough at this point I still hadn’t obtained a GED so I
Did just that, after I accomplished my GED I Immediately signed up for nursing school.
Throughout school I went through any and everything that could possibly happen from
not having a car to being abused to being able to work minimal and still have to care for
my children, But I got through it! All the while of going through nursing school I still
wanted more, and it was on my heart to have my own business which was to own a
clothing boutique. I was just unsure were to start and then one day God placed it in my
heart where to begin so I did. The clothing business was moving more then I expected
but I wanted something different that no one I knew was doing. I decided a scrub store
why not? After all I was a nurse! So I started to put the plan together on how I was going
to get it done. Once I obtained my building my father started the renovations, and I
started structuring my business all while taking classes towards obtaining my RN
Diploma. Anything you want is possible as long as its in your heart! Don’t let no one tell
you you’re dreaming to big as I just recently partnered with one of the major hospitals in
my city nursing program. I refuse to stop there… sky is the limit, and your
accomplishments are only as far as u can dream!
