Michelle Tinner was born and raised in Suffolk, Virginia. Michelle currently

lives in Carrollton, Virginia with her husband of over 10 years; Adrian. She’s

currently the proud owner of Love Thy Neighbor Home care in Hampton

Roads, Va & Eastern Shore, Virginia. She is also the owner of Pretty Girl

Scrubs and the owner of Love Thy Neighbor Kares Foundation.

Michelle is a Registered Nurse and has been in the nursing field for over 20

years. She started her nursing career in 2000 as a Certified Nursing Assistant

which led her to become a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2003. While being an

LPN for 10 years, Michelle graduated from ECPI University with an associate

degree in nursing in 2012. Michelle later enrolled in South University and

received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 and in 2017 received a

dual master’s degree in business / health administration. In 2024, Michelle

will return to school one more time to complete her studies to become a

Family Nurse Practitioner and open her own practice to better serve her

community.

Love Thy Neighbor came from Michelle providing care for her mother with

Dementia and she knew there were families who took care of their loved ones

and wanted to be compensated and from her own experience and with the

help of her loving husband; Adrian, Love Thy Neighbor was born. Pretty Girl

Scrubs was created to give every body type stylish and comfortable wearing

scrubs from XS to 12XL. No matter your size you should still look good!!.

Love Thy Neighbor Kares Foundation was created in 2022 to give caregivers

support and resources regarding services to help with their loved ones from

personal care services, financial resources, home cleaning and more.

Caregivers should not have to stress about how they are going to pay for those

services…just concentrate on caring for their loved one.

Michelle, along with her husband of over 10 years Adrian Tinner believes in

giving back to the community. They have organized several back-to-school

drives (giving away 500+ backpacks for our youth to date), free gas giveaways

(totaling over $10,000), donated over 300 stuffed bears to seniors in nursing

homes across Hampton Roads and Eastern Shore, participated in the

Tidewater Friends of Foster Care with monthly birthday gifts to foster kids.

Michelle has a scholarship at ECPI University at Newport News, Virginia

named after her which she gave $10,000 and ECPI matched to help students

in need after her own experience while attending school and have given to

countless local businesses and non-profit organizations.

Our continued success comes from GOD, and we want to show him how we

are forever grateful for his kindness and mercy. We thank him for blessing us

so we can help/bless others.
